If you happened to be lucky enough to attend the official party at the 2011 DrupalCon Chicago, you’ll remember how amazing it was.

It took place at the word-renowned Field Museum, and had in its attendance fossils of mammoths and dinosaurs (along with copious amounts of alcohol)

Well, the same team is at it again, 15 years later, for the Drupal 25th Anniversary Gala!

Tickets not available at Drupalcon

This is the Tuesday night event. There are no competing parties from Acquia, Pantheon, or others. In fact, they’re co-hosting alongside Palantir. The entire community will be in one place.

It’s extremely important to buy your tickets ahead of time. Tickets will not be available the week of DrupalCon or at the door due to catering requirements.

Cost

Sponsored tickets start at $25 each (the same price as in 2011!). They’re available to everyone thanks to the Gala’s generous sponsors.

If your company is covering the cost, or you’re able to swing it yourself, consider purchasing a full-price ticket ($125) — or even a “Pay It Forward” ticket to help subsidize someone else’s attendance.

For this celebration, Sketchbook Brewing Company is brewing a one-of-a-kind witbier just for the Gala. It’ll be on tap all night and available for purchase to take home.

What to expect

The venue is steps away from the Hilton Chicago.

You’ll enjoy three full hours of food and drinks, music and surprises, and a commemorative gift for every attendee.

Dress code: Drupal Fancy

Fancy attire is encouraged, but feel free to show up in a hoodie and jeans. Interpret “Drupal Fancy” however you like.
